Mohamed NIANG

Mohamed Niang is a specialist in innovation and industrial development and the CEO of INNOVA INVESTMENT. He advises the Government of Senegal on industrial policy, supports the structuring and financing of large-scale industrial projects across West Africa, and promotes the development of productive, inclusive, and sustainable value chains.

He has an international background in industrial research and consulting. Mohamed served as an industrial researcher at the Center of Industrial Production (CIP) in Denmark and as a consultant on global R&D outsourcing and offshoring projects across Europe and Asia. He has authored several academic publications on distributed innovation, operating network design, and global R&D strategies.

Upon returning to Africa, he became Executive Director of SEED Project (Sport for Education and Economic Development), where he designed and implemented development programs, led a USAID-supported capacity-building initiative, and contributed to the establishment of NBA Academy Africa.

Recognized for his problem-solving approach, Mohamed focuses on projects that maximize local economic impact through sustainable resource utilization, job creation, industrial subcontracting, and environmental responsibility.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Delaware, a Master’s degree in Innovation Management from Aalborg University (Denmark), and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard Business School.

Abdoulaye LY

Abdoulaye LY is a senior consultant, investment specialist. For 20 years, he worked for the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) as a senior economist in the Department of Economic Studies and Currency.

On secondment to the Senegalese administration, he was Director of Investment Promotion, then Technical Advisor to the Ministry of Industry in charge of projects such as the Regional Mining Hub, special economic zones and the construction ecosystem. He also piloted events such as the International Industry Fair and the launch of the second phase of the Diamniadio Industrial Park.

Since March 2022, he has been Executive Director of the Senegalese Investors Club (CIS).

Djiby LY

Vice-President of Contact International Inc., a public relations company based in Beverly Hills, USA, then Attaché to the Office of the President of the Republic of Gabon & Advisor to the High Personal Representative of the President of the Republic (HRPP), Djiby LY understands the vast opportunities and risks associated with doing business at the highest level.

As a director of SIFT SA, a holding company for investment vehicles in agribusiness, technology, industry, finance and services, he facilitates the entry of international brands into the Gabonese market with TATA MOTORS, SINOTRUK , SINOMACH, IMS ITALIA, among others... He led the MEBAGA Iron Mining project in Gabon with the Australian Ferrex & Anglo America. He introduced APPLE (iStore Gabon, distribution of Apple products in Central Africa) and installed QUIEROZ GALVAO, a Brazilian agricultural investment company.

Among other achievements, he led the acquisition of HEIRS HOLDINGS in Nigeria, a construction project for 10,000 homes in Burkina Faso and a 90 MW solar power plant project in Guinea.

Ibrahima NIANG

With over 40 years of experience in project management, Ibrahima is a former Technical Director with SAED and SOMIVAC, then held the position of Regional Manager for the Sahel for ADF (African Development Foundation). Ibrahima has been a senior consultant and trainer of COLEACP (EU-ACP Liaison Committee for the Promotion of Horticultural Exports with EU Framework Contract) for more than 10 years, bringing into orbit the largest horticultural exporters in the sub region.

He graduated from the prestigious University of California - Davis, as an agricultural engineer, Msc.

Mike AERTKER

Mike Aertker is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in international project management and business development, biomedical research, laboratory design and operations, construction, and security operations.

Mike specializes in laboratory planning and sales, safety and biosecurity, biomedical research facility operations, research animal facility design, BSL3 facility construction, disaster planning and preparedness. emergencies, investigations.

He graduated from Tulane University with a Masters in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA in Finance.

Boulaye GASSAMA

Boulaye GASSAMA is the Director of EQUI-SAHEL, a Mauritanian leader in the distribution of equipment for: AEP, boreholes, irrigation, electricity, pumping, buildings. EQUI-SAHEL provides its customers with excellent expertise accompanied by integral solutions with a large stock of equipment available on site.

Abdoulaye TRAORE

Abdoulaye TRAORE is an economist specializing in monetary and fiscal policy, econometrics and financial risk analysis. He holds a doctorate in economics, a DEA in economic and quantitative analysis as well as a Master's degree in Money-Banking-Finance.

He has a diverse experience as an academic, researcher and consultant for several public and private organizations in Senegal. His various works focus, among other things, on the evaluation of economic policies, business performance, economic forecasts and credit risk analysis.
